BNSF Rail Bridge Construction Shifts Focus

(Bismarck, ND) — Crews working on the new B-N-S-F rail bridge between Bismarck and Mandan are shifting their near-term focus to pier construction. The construction company says focusing on getting the piers installed will maximize productivity. Piles for pier 9 have been completed, and piers 7 and 8 are in the beginning stages of construction. While a portion of the Missouri River is closed, a section will remain open during the project.
