(Sioux Falls, SD) — A second former Mitchell Legion baseball player is planning to plead guilty to being an accessory to a felony when he appears in court on Monday. The rape charges against Peyton Mandel would be dropped if he pleads guilty. He is among the six players charged with rape after an incident at a Rapid City hotel last year involving two 16-year-old victims. Nineteen-year-old Lincoln Bates pled guilty this week to being an accessory to a felony and also had his rape charge dismissed.
