(Fargo, ND) — An affordable housing project in Fargo is getting more support from the federal government. The EPA gifted the City of Fargo an additional two-million dollars in grant money for the redevelopment of the Lashkowitz High Rise. The funding, courtesy of the Brownfields Cleanup Grant program, is going to clean up asbestos at the high rise at 101 2nd Street South. The total amount received for the Lashkowitz Riverfront project is now 24-million dollars.
