MLB All-Star Replacements Chosen

(Seattle, WA) — The injury replacements for the upcoming MLB All-Star Game have been chosen. Mariners center fielder Julio Rodriguez will replace Yordan Alvarez, Mariners pitcher George Kirby will take over for Shane McClanahan, Rays shortstop Wander Franco fills in for Aaron Judge, and Astros outfielder Kyle Tucker will play in place of Mike Trout. In the National League, Pirates closer David Bednar was selected to replace Clayton Kershaw. Franco and Kirby are first-time All-Stars, while Bednar, Rodriguez and Tucker will play in their second All-Star Game.
