Local MMA Fighter Killed In I-94 Crash

(Fargo, ND) — The Fargo area is mourning the loss of a local MMA fighter killed in Sunday’s crash along I-94. Twenty-one-year-old Shalie Lipp of Breckenridge died in the accident between Fargo and Moorhead on the Red River Bridge. Friends and family gathered at the Academy of Combat Arts off of Main Avenue in Fargo Monday – the gym Shalie trained at. Coaches called Shalie an “inspiration” to others, adding that she will be greatly missed.
