SDGFP Seeks Public’ Input On A Pheasant Action Plan

(Pierre, SD) — The South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks is seeking public comments and suggestions on a proposed action plan for ring-necked pheasants. The department says the proposed change is to make sure the state continues to be a perfect destination for pheasant hunters. The draft action plan has 17 strategies, which includes a new web-based tool, improving habitat and existing population monitoring programs. Those who want to comment on the plan can contact the Game, Fish and Parks department. The public comment period was recently extended to April 19th.
