Iowa OC Ferentz To Be Let Go

(Iowa City, IA) — The Iowa Hawkeyes football team will have a new offensive coordinator next season. Interim athletic director Beth Goetz announced Monday that Brian Ferentz will be let go at the end of the season. Ferentz is the son of head coach Kirk Ferentz, and this is his seventh year leading the offense. Iowa is averaging an FBS-worst 268 yards per game over the last three seasons. Ferentz will stay with the team through the end of the 2023 campaign. The Hawkeyes visit Northwestern on Saturday.
