Twins Fall To Astros

(Houston, TX) — The Twins got off to a slow start during a 5-1 loss to the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park. Minnesota dug itself into a five-run hole through three innings as Joe Ryan had a rare rough start. Ryan was charged with just his second loss of the season after giving up five runs in four innings. Christian Vazquez drove in Minnesota’s only run during the losing effort. The Twins remain in first place in the AL Central at 28-and-27. Louie Varland starts for Minnesota against Houston tonight.
