Twins Get Walked Off In Tenth

(Chicago, IL) — The Twins opened up their mid-week series against the Chicago White Sox with a 3-2 loss in ten innings at Guaranteed Rate Field. The Southsiders were up by one in the eighth inning before Nick Gordon hit a game-tying pinch-hit home run to force extras. Caleb Thielbar gave up a two-out walk-off single to Andrew Benintendi in the bottom of the tenth, and he was charged with his first loss out of the pen.
