Wild Hold Exit Interviews

(St. Paul, MN) — The Wild spoke to reporters as they cleared out their lockers at the Xcel Energy Center yesterday. Minnesota’s season ended on Friday with a Game Six loss to the Dallas Stars in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. During the interviews, goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury said that he’s “not going anywhere” even if he is back-up with the Wild next season. On the opposite side of the spectrum, free agent defenseman Matt Dumba acknowledged that the team might not be bringing him back, but added that his “heart is definitely here in Minny.” Additionally center Joel Eriksson Ek revealed that he tried playing Game Three of the series against Dallas with a broken leg.
