Avian Flu Confirmed At Wright County, MN Farm

(Wright County, MN) — The Minnesota Board of Animal Health says an outbreak of avian flu has been confirmed at a commercial egg-laying operation in Wright County. About 940-thousand birds have been quarantined as a result of the discovery. Multiple cases of the bird flu were confirmed in Minnesota last month, and the agency has established control zones affecting at least eight counties to try to limit the spread of the disease.
