Dangerous Drug Xylanine Found In Minnesota

(Undated) — A drug used for sedation, relaxation, and anesthesia in non-human mammals is making its way to the streets of Minnesota. It’s called xylanine, and the Biden Administration started developing a national response to it and fentanyl in March after calling the drugs an “emerging threat.” Xylazine is not an opioid, so Narcan has no effect on it. The drug can cause gruesome, gaping skin wounds, organ abscesses, amputation of limbs, and more.
