(Valley City, ND) — Valley City State University has received the largest donation in the university’s history. The 5-million dollars comes from Fargo-area billionaire Gary Tharaldson and his family. The donation will help fund the expansion of the W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse; VCSU’s main athletic building that was built in 1960. The university’s athletic director says the money will have a “huge, positive impact” on student-athletes.
