Avera Announces New President And CEO

(Pierre, SD) — Avera Health has its new President and CEO. Jim Dover will take over the position on October 23rd for one of the largest not-for-profit rural healthcare systems in the Midwest. Avera says Dover is a seasoned health care executive with more than 30 years of experience serving in leadership positions. He’s the current President and CEO of Sparrow Health in Lansing, Michigan. The current Avera CEO, Bob Sutton, announced his resignation earlier this summer due to a serious health issue.
