Gov. Noem Cancels CNN Interview

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Governor Kristi Noem won’t be attending her CNN interview following the recent backlash of her new book. CNN anchor Dana Bash revealed yesterday afternoon that the governor “abruptly canceled” her appearance on the “Inside Politics” show. This comes after Noem revealed that some excerpts in the book were going to be removed. One story involved Noem meeting the dictator of North Korea, Kim Jong Un. When Noem was asked about the meeting on Newsmax, she redirects the conversation by saying she thinks “the American citizen is more worried about the border” than the details in her book. It’s unknown why Noem cancelled the interview but officials from CNN say the governor is welcome on the program at any time.
