(Sioux Falls, SD) — The Sioux Falls School District is celebrating the groundbreaking of a new facility for the Boys and Girls Clubs. The six-and-half million dollar facility will be built alongside the George McGovern Middle School. Principal Tim Koehler says students will be able to participate in many after school opportunities that’s not available at the school. The club will have social areas, a gym, culinary space and a recording studio. CEO of Boys and Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire, Stacy Jones says they hope to have the center open for students by fall of 2025.
