(Grand Forks, ND) — Grand Forks police say 13 out of 19 local businesses passed their alcohol compliance checks on Tuesday. The department conducts compliance checks several times per year to make sure businesses aren’t serving alcohol to people under the age of 21. However, they did things a little differently this time by publicly releasing a list of businesses that passed, rather than the ones that failed. The idea is to provide more positive reinforcement and motivate businesses to make the list.
