Mandan Woman Pleads Not Guilty To Attempted Murder

(Mandan, ND) — A Mandan woman who’s accused of stabbing another woman with a pair of sewing shears has pleaded not guilty to several charges, including attempted murder. It happened last May at an apartment, and suspect Sabrina Kraus was arrested after an hours-long SWAT standoff. The 62-year-old victim was treated for numerous stab wounds. Kraus was deemed fit to proceed to trial following a psychological evaluation, and she entered her pleas last week. She faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted of attempted murder.
