James River Escapee Captured

(Jamestown, ND) — A man who escaped from a minimum security facility in Jamestown has been apprehended in South Dakota. A search for Nathan Lang began earlier this month after he went missing from the James River Minimum Unit. South Dakota law enforcement officials received a tip on his whereabouts, and found him at an abandoned farm in Corson County on Friday. Lang reportedly led authorities on a vehicle pursuit before he was taken into custody, and he’s facing multiple criminal charges. His girlfriend and a 2-year-old child were also found in his vehicle, and the child was placed in the care of Child Protective Services.
