Bill To Regulate Ticket Sales Passes MN House

(St. Paul, MN) — Minnesota lawmakers are a step closer to enacting new rules for sports and concert ticket sales. The House passed a bill yesterday to require companies to disclose all fees charged for ticket sales before any tickets are purchased. The bill’s sponsor said she began work on the new regulations after having a bad experience trying to buy tickets for Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour. A Senate version of the bill is still awaiting a final vote and could be included in an omnibus commerce package later in the session.
