MN Marijuana Bill Signed Into Law

(St. Paul, MN) — Recreational marijuana will soon be legal in Minnesota. Governor Walz [[ walls ]] signed the legislation yesterday. Starting August 1st, adults over 21 will be able to carry up to two ounces of weed in public and possess two pounds at home. That means communities close to the border will have access to the drug, but Sheriff Milstead says South Dakota’s law isn’t changing anytime soon. He says he’s prepared to uphold the law if anyone tries to bring weed into the state.
