Broncos Bench Russell Wilson, To Start Jarrett Stidham

(Englewood, CO) — The Denver Broncos are making a change under center. Head coach Sean Payton announced Wednesday that Jarrett Stidham will start at quarterback for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Russell Wilson will serve as his backup after starting all 15 games for the Broncos this season. An injury to Wilson could trigger 37-million dollars in guaranteed money if he can’t pass a physical by early March. The nine-time Pro Bowler has thrown for 3,070 yards, 26 touchdowns and eight interceptions this season.
