Orioles’ Felix Bautista, Brewers’ Devin Williams Win Relievers Of The Year

(Undated) — A pair of shutdown closers were honored for their stellar MLB seasons on Wednesday. Felix Bautista of the Baltimore Orioles won the American League award, while Devin Williams of the Milwaukee Brewers took home the National League crown. Bautista converted 33-of-39 saves for Baltimore last season and went 8-and-2 with a 1.48 ERA. Williams was 36-of-40 in save opportunities for Milwaukee and sported an 8-and-3 record to go with a 1.53 Earned Run Average. Cleveland’s Emmanuel Clase and Toronto’s Jordan Romano finished second and third on the AL side. Pittsburgh’s David Bednar and San Diego’s Josh Hader were two-and-three for the NL.
