Twins Lose Finale Against A’s

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins weren’t able to complete a sweep of the Oakland A’s thanks to a 2-1 loss at Target Field yesterday. The game was tied at one heading into the eighth before Kenta Maeda gave up a go-ahead home run to Ryan Noda. Maeda was charged with his eighth loss. The Twins fell to 85-and-74 and are now locked into the three-seed in the American League. Joe Ryan starts for Minnesota against Colorado tonight.
